Oh where, oh where have the Holidays gone?

So these holidays are gone... already!! The kids are flying around the house getting ready and I can't believe that the many wonderful hours of crafting that I was planning on doing over the holidays is finished. Oh, well, life is not complete unless your creating something, so I will find time.
I will. Truely.

Redwork Quilt

With Christmas just past, I thought I'd share a little of what the kids received from me. This was my daughter's long awaited quilt. A little French inspired, red/white/black patchwork, with a huge amount of redwork (didn't think I'd make it in time). My daughter has changed her mind about what colours she wanted in her bedroom almost every year, but red appears to be the winner at the moment. The inspiration has come from many different quilts that I have seen, and most of the redwork were clipart picture results from Google.

So here it is, my creation of a Girl's French Dream (and a few more close up shots of some of the embroidery designs).
